Pellet Bruciabene®

100% chestnut pellets from Piedmont, Italy

Pellets, commercialized under the Bruciabene® brand, combine the advantages of modern and economic consumption, quality, naturalness and process sustainability. The raw materials used for the pellet production are chestnut wood residues derived from the production of tannins and vegetable extracts. Today Silvateam is a leading company in this sector using annually more than 150,000 m3 of chestnut wood from Italy in its manufacturing plant of San Michele Mondovì.

Bruciabene® pellet is 100% natural, with a characteristic dark brown color. The product presents a good quality price balance and the following characteristics which are difficult to find in the market:

  • High-quality raw materials, chestnut wood residues only are used, environmentally friendly while maintaining a short supply chain
  • Fully natural, drying and extrusion is carried out without the addition of chemical additives, bleaching agents, and colorings
  • Very uniform and homogeneous wood fibers guarantee a constant heating power and reduce the need for continuous maintenance of stoves and boilers
  • Ash and heavy metal content is much lower than the current regulations
  • Low content of total nitrogen, sulphur, and formaldehyde

Bruciabene® pellets are sold in convenient 15 kg size bags which are easy to transport and to store and mainly used domestically, as natural fuel for stoves and boilers. They are also packaged in big bags and bulk sizes of a capacity respectively of 10-12 quintal and 80 quintals. They are specifically used in industrial boilers and thermal power plants with a high consumption of biofuel and equipped with storage silos.
