Types of data processed
The Site offers informative and sometimes interactive content. While browsing the Site, the Data Controller may therefore acquire information about the visitor, in particular:
- Navigation Data: the computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes: the IP address (location), the type of browser used, computer device, operating system, domain name and addresses of websites from which access was made, information on the pages visited by users within, access time, the length of time spent on the individual page, internal path analysis and other parameters relating to the operating system and the IT environment of the User;
- Common personal data: this is all personal data provided by the User through the Site, for example by filling out a form or sending their Curriculum Vitae;
- Particular personal data: this is all personal data that may, pursuant to art. 9 of European Regulation 2016/679, reveal racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, as well as process genetic data, biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, data relating to health or to the sex life or sexual orientation of the person, which can be contained in the CV sent to Silvateam.
Purpose of the processing
Users' personal data are used for the following purposes:
- provide the information requested by the user by filling out the contact form;
- statistical purposes on the use and navigation of the site;
- commercial and marketing purposes by subscribing to the newsletter.
Legal basis
Users' personal data are processed if:
- the interested party has given consent to the processing for one or more purposes, and only in relation to the purpose to which the aforementioned consent refers;
- the processing is justified by the legitimate interest of Silvateam (data controller) such as, for example, the protection of its rights in court;
- The processing is required by law or by an order of the Authority.
Mandatory provision of data
The provision of data is optional and can be revoked at any time by following the procedure explained in the cookie policy section.
It is understood that if the user does not wish to provide all or part of their data, the data controller may be unable to provide some services (for example sending the newsletter).
Data Retention
Personal data will be processed for the following maximum periods:
- for statistical purposes: 24 months;
- for communications with the User: the time necessary to carry out the communication activity;
- for legitimate interest: until the realization of the legitimate interest and in any case for a period not exceeding 10 years;
- to comply with a legal obligation: the time indicated by the law in question.
Communication, dissemination and transfer of data
The processing will be carried out exclusively by authorized persons, duly trained for this, who will be designated by Silvateam also for organizational purposes.
The data may be communicated to:
- subjects that deal with the updating, maintenance and management of the Site;
- partners who provide services for the operation of the Site;
- suppliers of e-mail boxes, as well as consultants, accountants, lawyers and companies that provide services functional to the activity of Silvateam and the Site;
- subjects who process data in execution of specific legal obligations;
- judicial or administrative authorities, for the fulfillment of legal obligations.
Data profiling
The personal data processed by the site is not subject to any fully automated decision-making process which, pursuant to art. 22 of European Regulation 679/2016, may produce legal effects on the User or that significantly affects, in a similar way, his/her person.
Methods of processing personal data
The processing of personal data is mainly carried out using electronic procedures and supports (such as databases, Customer Relationship Management platforms) for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected and, in any case, in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, correctness, non-excess and relevance provided for by current legislation.
Links to and from third party sites
From the Site it is possible to connect, through special links, to other websites or it is possible from third-party websites to connect to the Site. The Data Controller declines any responsibility regarding any request and / or release of personal data to third party sites and with regard to the management of authentication credentials generally provided by third parties.
Users' rights
Users have the right to exercise their rights in the manner and within the limits established by current privacy legislation. In relation to the processing of personal data, each User has the right to ask the Data Controller:
- access: i.e. confirmation as to whether or not data concerning him or her is being processed. You may also request further clarification regarding the contents of the Information or receive the data being processed within the limits of reasonableness;
- rectification: i.e. the correction or integration of the data provided or in any case in the possession of the Data Controller if inaccurate;
- cancellation: i.e. the fact that the acquired data is deleted. This will happen if there is no legal obligation to delete or there are no disputes or controversies in existence;
- limitation: i.e. the limitation of the processing of personal data when one of the conditions referred to in art. 18 of the GDPR; in this case the data will not be processed except for storage;
- opposition: i.e. express opposition to the processing of data. This will take place unless there are legitimate reasons of the Data Controller to proceed with the processing, reasons that prevail over those of the User, for example for the exercise or defense in court;
- portability: i.e. the request to receive personal data or to have them transmitted to another Data Controller indicated by the User, in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device.
Pursuant to Art. 7, Paragraph 3 of the GDPR, the User may exercise at any time his or her right to withdraw consent without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given previously.
The User, to exercise the rights referred to in this article or report problems or, again, request clarification on the processing of their personal data, can send a communication specifying the request, via e-mail to privacy.office@silvateam.com.
The User may file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority which, in Italy, is the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali.
Changes to the information
The possible entry into force of new privacy regulations as well as the constant examination and updating of services to the User may result in the need to modify the methods and terms described in the Information. It is therefore possible that it may change over time. The interested party is therefore invited to periodically consult this web page. We will post any changes to this Policy on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will notify you with a more prominent notification. The previous versions of the Information will, in any case, be archived to allow consultation.
